“The food is just as important as the drinks, so (Saturday) is more of a chance to get a first look, not what we are all going to be all about,” said Jeret Peña, a managing partner of the Boulevardier Group, which also owns the Still Golden House business. “On the 15th, that will provide more of an image of what we are.”
The soft-opening phase will feature a preview of the tiki bar-inspired cocktail menu, as well as beer and wine.
Interior dining will be available at a later date, due to continuing renovations. Until then, customers will be able to enter the building and order at the counter.
The Boulevardier Group has operated several noted bars across San Antonio, including The Brooklynite, and the Last Word. This will be its first restaurant.
